My Most Used Concealers

Raise your hand up if you can not live without concealer! *raises hand*  When I'm not wearing concealer I always get comments like "Are you feeling sick?" or "You look really tired." I work 12 hour overnight shifts so I don't get much sleep as it is. I wear concealer everyday to help me look more awake and refreshed. I have very dark circles and bags under my eyes as well as some fine lines and creases that I've had since I can remember. Because I use concealer so much I am constantly trying out new ones looking for that holy grail product. In this post I'd though I would share with you my favorite ones both drugstore and high end. I tend to rotate between all of them. For these pictures I used one layer of concealer and blended it out with my finger.

Here are the drugstore concealers with before and after pictures:

Fotd #2 Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

This is my second look featuring the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. But before I get into the products I used I wanted to say that the photos above are not really doing this look justice. For some reason the shadows are not photographing as intense as they are in person. I am testing out so new lights so I'm not sure if that is the issue. But regardless I still wanted to make this post because the look itself is very beautiful. Here is what I used to create the look:

Ulta Goodies!

I went shopping today! We'll I guess I'm always shopping really. I needed a new eye shadow primer since my urban decay one dried out and no longer blended well. But in all fairness it was pretty old. I wanted to try something new so I picked up Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I actually can't believe I've never tried this before. I know I know I'm late in the game as it has been around for ages.

Initial Thoughts and Swatches of CoverGirl LipPerfection Products

Hi everyone!

Today I'm bringing you some swatches and initial review of a few CoverGirl LipPerction lip products. While on a recent trip to the drugstore, I was searching the isles for some plum lip products for fall,I came across the CoverGirl LipPerfection lipsticks and LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm. I picked up the lipstick in Smitten and the Gloss Balm's in Jam Twist and Plum Twist.

Smitten lipstick is a gorgeous plum color for fall. The LipPerfection lipsticks apply like a breeze. They a soft and creamy with good pigmentation. The texture and finish of this lipstick reminds me a lot of Mac Lustre lipsticks. Smitten feels hydrating on the lips.It also has excellent staying power.

Nordstrom Rack Haul

Long time no post, I know it's been months since I have updated this blog. I plan to start fresh and continue to post regularly on here. I am starting out with a fashion post. The other day I noticed I have been rotating the same three or four tops. I have a closet full of clothes that I really wasn't wearing. So I decided to sort and donate most of it to make room for new pieces. Today I went shopping to Nordstrom Rack. I love shopping there because they sell quality clothing at very affordable prices.i manages to find a few sweaters and tops that really suit my style.

The first top I found is a really soft cotton striped shirt with a beading detail on the neckline. It has 3/4 length sleeves and a ribbon tie on the back. It fits loose like a oversized tee.the brand is called I*NR.

This next sweater is made by Olivia Sky. It is a gray cotton sweater with a ivory lace insert on the shoulders and back. It is also 3/4 sleeve with a hi-lo hem on the bottom.

This Yuni Los Angeles sweater is probably my favorite purchase. It's a long oversized heather grey sweater with pearl beading along the neckline. The back has a scalloped detail with a chiffon insert.

The next long sleeve top is made by Heather by Bordeaux. It is a black stretch top with a lace detail on the shoulders. It has a faux leather trim along the neck and a zipper detail on the back.

Top by Vanilla Sugar. 3/4 sleeve navy with animal print.

    Jersey Blazer by Caslon.

    Front zip sweater by Halogen

That is my Nordstrom Rack haul. I purchased all of these items myself. I am really happy with what I found. Everything is casual and comfortable which is basically my style. Subscribe to my blog for future haul posts including fashion and makeup.
