Healthy Low Fat Vegan Pizza Recipe

I had a huge craving for pizza today! I decided to make my own healthy version though because my day 30 of the Herbalife health plan is coming up this week. So far I've lost 11 lbs! I made a low fat vegan pizza and served it with a simple arugula salad and champagne pear vinaigrette dressing from Trader Joe's. The finished pizza has 8 slices and each slice has about 130 calories.

What You Will Need:

-Premade Whole Wheat Pizza Dough (or you can make your own at home)
-1/4 cup Fat Free Pizza Sauce
-Toppings of Choice:Sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms,Sliced Baby Yellow and Red Bell Peppers,Sliced  Red Onion,Fresh Basil

What To Do:

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Stretch out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. You can use your hands to do this but I find it works best with a rolling pin. Once you've shaped the dough place it on a baking sheet. You can spray the sheet with coconut oil spray to prevent the dough from sticking if you like. Now you can assemble the pizza. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough. Next add the toppings. Bake the pizza in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove the pizza from the baking sheet and bake it directly on the oven rack for an additional 5 minutes. This step ensures the crust gets nice and crispy. The final step is to slice it up and serve it!

This pizza was really tasty. It's dairy free, low fat,and low sodium. Perfect for when you are craving pizza but still want to stick with eating healthy meals.

Preparing Healthy Dinners for the Week

Disclaimer: This post has nothing to do with makeup and everything to do with healthy eating.

About two and a half weeks ago I started the Herbalife nutrition plan. I wanted to get healthy and lose some weight. So far I've lost about 7 lbs! Part of the plan is to prep nutritious meals for the week. It is so much easier to spend a couple of hours each week prepping all your meals than having to cook everyday. I always have fun cooking though. It's one of my favorite things to do. In this post I thought I would share some examples of what I make for the week.

Here is an example of a typical dinner : Grilled marinated chicken, sautéed asparagus, and cilantro lime rice
